What is a Captive Vendor Program?

How do I know if I need a full “Captive” program?

General rules of thumb:

  • More than 3% of your sales require financing.
  • You’re currently working with multiple financing companies and have no consistency from transaction to transaction.
  • You have internal resources tied up handling different functions that a captive program can manage more efficiently.
  • You’re losing sales because you can’t get transactions approved.
  • Your sales organization wants to use customer specific programs across the entire company but doesn’t have the support to accomplish.
